Jackson Out with Groin Tear
From the "could it get any worse" files:
Steven Jackson apparently ran so hard this week that he tore his groin. He's out this week against the Cowboys and is being called "week to week" by Linehan.
If this doesn't kill fan hopes for the season, I don't know what will.
On the positive side of things, and I'll admit I'm stretching it here, Brian Leonard has looked pretty good in his play so far. Incognito will back this week also, which will help with the run blocking.
We do still have our wide receivers, and maybe just maybe this will get everyone motivated enough to score some points.

Just as I expected.
Kinda hard to be down on the guy. Also, kinda hard to blast the coaching staff for the conservative game plan. Granted, it looked like the same gameplan as the first game of the year as well as the same gameplan we often saw last season, but still...
