Haslett Moving On?

The brains behind the most porous wall in St. Louis since the levies were built with mud, Jim Haslett, turned down a preliminary offer to become head coach at the University of Alabama recently. Is Haslett openly looking for another job? Not necessarily, but leaked info like this makes you wonder if he's got his name out there.

NFL coaches, or college coaches for that matter, kind of always have their services on the market; it's just the nature of the business. But it does make you wonder if Haslett, via back channels, is actively looking elsewhere. The leaked nature of this news and his refusal to comment only fuels such speculation.
